If so, we are looking for an exceptional individual to join Life as a Female* Pregnancy Matters™ Support Worker covering the Walsall area for a temporary bases.
We aim to provide a creative and flexible approach to meet each client’s needs and to ensure they feel valued, respected and cared for.

Life’s mission is to uphold respect for every human life from fertilisation until natural death whilst providing emotional and practical support to pregnant woman and young mothers who are vulnerable.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and an understanding of delivering a service using the person-centered approach to our clients. They will have experience of face-to-face service delivery, a broad understanding of statutory and voluntary services, ensuring independence, choice and control for all those who access our service.
You will need to have empathy and understanding of the needs of young people dealing with pregnancy or bringing up a young child, and the barriers they might face. You can show us you have experience of or the ability to provide high quality support whilst managing challenging situations.
You have to be committed to the organisation’s ethos and bring enthusiasm and willingness to practical tasks. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to maintain appropriate and professional boundaries with clients at all times.
You should have basic IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills and understand the importance of working within equal opportunities, safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines. You should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You should have good life skills and some knowledge of this field would be beneficial but not essential.
