Pregnancy Matters™ Online during COVID-19

Pregnancy Matters™ Online is confidential counselling service for anyone affected by pregnancy-related issues. As a result of COVID-19, we are experiencing a massive increase in the number of people reaching out to us. Annabel Osborn, Life trustee, explains more:

One testimonial we received from a woman helped by Pregnancy Matters™ Online

“Hi, I had just found out that I was pregnant and was feeling overwhelmed and extremely unhappy. I ended up booking an appointment to have an abortion. I actually came across your charity by accident and decided I had nothing to lose by reaching out and filling in a contact form on your website. Someone from your organisation soon responded to me by sending me a message. Even though my contact with your charity was brief, that message was enough to give me the strength and courage to choose life for my unborn baby. I cancelled the abortion I had booked just hours before it was due to take place.
If it wasn’t for that kind, compassionate, and sympathetic message I received from one of your workers when I was pregnant and in a vulnerable position, I wouldn’t have the beautiful, bright, and happy 17-month-old little baby I have today.
Thank you so much for the incredible work you do.”
