We are seeking a compassionate, proactive Belfast Services Manager to lead our supported housing and community services across Belfast. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, trauma‑informed support to clients, while managing and developing a dedicated team of support workers and volunteers.
This is a key leadership position ideal for someone who is passionate about social impact, client‑centred support, and making a meaningful difference for vulnerable women and families.
Key Responsibilities
Service Leadership
- Provide operational leadership across supported housing and community services.
- Ensure clients receive personalised, trauma‑informed and outcome‑focused support.
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments, tenancy management and service compliance.
- Monitor KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Participate in the on‑call rota and ensure high‑quality crisis response.
Team Management & Development
- Line‑manage support workers, community staff and volunteers.
- Lead on recruitment, supervision, appraisals and performance development.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and maintain quality service delivery across the region.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including estates, safeguarding, finance and income generation.
Safeguarding & Risk
- Champion safeguarding across services, ensuring safe practice and robust reporting.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance aligned with organisational safeguarding policies.
- Maintain GDPR‑compliant record‑keeping.
Housing & Property Compliance
- Work closely with Estates colleagues to ensure high‑quality, safe and compliant accommodation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in service quality and physical housing standards.
Partnership Working
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, health services, social workers and voluntary agencies.
- Attend multi‑agency meetings, case conferences and contract reviews.
- Identify and maximise referral and service‑development opportunities.
Quality, Governance & Reporting
- Ensure services meet regulatory and contractual standards.
- Produce performance reports and support audit readiness.
- Promote best practice and contribute to service development and strategic goals.
Finance & Resource Management
- Manage budgets responsibly, ensuring efficient use of staffing and resources.
- Support clients with rent management and prevent arrears.
- Contribute to funding bids and service redesign initiatives.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering and managing support or care services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, housing management, risk assessment and support planning.
- Experience working with vulnerable people, including individuals in crisis.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Strong leadership, organisational and people‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and make informed decisions.
- Competent in Microsoft Office 365.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience in the charity sector in a similar role.
- Knowledge of social housing, estates management and performance‑based service delivery.
- Housing qualification (e.g., CIH Level 4).
- Experience in troubleshooting roles or service improvement.

Salary: £6,800 per annum
Hours: 7 hours per week – Days are negotiable
Location: Home working with travel across Belfast – there is a requirement to be able to attend services in an emergency. There may be requirement to attend meetings in Leamington Spa, National Office.
