Stacey Lervy, our Support Worker for the Fleet House in Link Four, entered a competition on Facebook “To win a Christmas tree for someone who deserved it.”
She put in an application for the Fleet house, which houses up to five young mums in need (plus their children!). All the bedrooms are en suite and it’s fully furnished.
However, it didn’t have a Christmas tree. So Stacey told the competition that they didn’t have a tree and how it would brighten up the house for the mums and children.
Last week, Stacey heard that the house had won. She went to Maryland Trees to pick up the donated tree.
The tree is massive and has now been put up to the joy of the mums and children in the Fleet house.
