“Thanks for all you do”

Recently, consultant midwife, Shona Hamilton, from Antrim Hospital in Northern Ireland, designed a training day ‘Psychosis in Pregnancy’ especially for Life staff, volunteers and clients.

The training was held in a local church. There was 15 bouquets of flowers left for participants with a card with this message:

Thanks for all that you do. Please accept these flowers as a small token of our appreciation.  May they encourage you as you continue to do amazing work’.

Shona was very impressed with the group, especially with a young peer mentor from the Belfast Life House whom she described as the most empathic person she had ever met.

Since then, Shona has offered to mentor her and help her access 3rd level education.

These are the positive stories we love to hear!
