Hello, my name is Hayley. Six months ago I was in a bad place in my life. I was a recovering drug addict and was working as a prostitute to fund my drug habit. I was also 4 months pregnant with twins and needed help.
I heard about Life and was referred for an interview. Luckily I got offered a room and things have completed changed ever since.
I have received lots of help from Life which includes support and counselling and with Life’s help I have managed to turn my life around.
I had my twins early at 26 weeks and both were very poorly. Unfortunately one of my babies passed away the following day. My other baby remained in hospital for 108 days and things were touch and go for a while.
He is now doing really well and is now at home with me at the Life House.
I am really happy at Life and receive all the support I need from staff.
Without Life I would definitely not be where I am now and I would no doubt still be a drug addict and my son would be in Care.
